Privacy Policy

Last updated April 18, 2026

No data is collected or transmitted to the developer by this application.

No personal information, usage statistics, analytics, identifiers, or diagnostics leave your device. There are no ad networks, no analytics SDKs, no tracking pixels, and no phone-home requests.

Where your data lives

  • On your device. Downloaded tracks, cached artwork, saved queues, player preferences, and the local database stay inside the app sandbox on the device where Dee Jellie is installed.
  • On your Jellyfin server. Playback state, playlists, favorites, and play counts live on the server you choose to connect to, against your own Jellyfin account. That server is operated by you or by whoever granted you access to it.

Server credentials

When a Jellyfin (or, with Drac's Jukebox, a Subsonic-compatible) server is added, the server URL and access token are stored in the iOS Keychain and the app's local database on that device. Credentials are sent only to the server being contacted, never anywhere else.

iCloud sync

Dee Jellie can optionally sync a small set of data (app preferences, unlocked themes and icons, and achievement progress) across your Apple devices through your personal iCloud account (Apple's CloudKit). This data stays in your private iCloud container, accessible only to you and to apps you have authorized on devices signed in to your Apple ID. iCloud sync can be turned off in the app's settings or at the system level.

Purchases

In-app purchases, including the Supporter subscription and the Drac's Jukebox unlock, are handled by Apple through StoreKit. Payment details and billing information are processed by Apple and are not exposed to Dee Jellie.

Network traffic

Dee Jellie makes network requests only to:

  • The Jellyfin and/or Subsonic-compatible servers you configure, for library browsing and playback.
  • RadioBrowser, when the community radio directory is browsed. These requests carry no personally identifying information.
  • Apple-operated services (iCloud, StoreKit, the App Store) as part of normal platform behavior.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, this page and the "Last Updated" date above will be revised. Material changes will also appear in the app's release notes.
